Enrolment:

All students including adults and children, are required to complete an enrolment form each year to secure their spot in one of the classes.

Payment:

All Adult flamenco classes are paid on a monthly basis (calendar month). There are two payment options - ‘Monthly’ or ‘Casual’.
(Adult classes) If you are changing from monthly to casual for the next month, you must let us know via email before the 20th of the month.
All Kids flamenco classes are paid on a term basis.
Payment emails will be sent out in advance, prior to the new month or term commencing and must be paid in full prior to commencing the new month/term.
All payment invoices and communications will be sent via email. Please ensure we have at all times your best email that is regularly checked to make sure you receive all emails from us on time.

Cancellations and Refunds:

Class payments are strictly non-refundable.
A refund or class credit will only be made when the instructor has to cancel a class or where there is a long-term illness or injury.
In the event of the teacher not being able to find a replacement teacher to fill in and has to cancel a class, the teacher will try first to re-schedule a make-up class at a suitable time/day for the whole class or if not possible, will issue a class credit or refund.

Class attendance:

It is expected that all students assist to a minimum of 80% of classes throughout the year.
It is essential and common courtesy that all students (both adults & kids classes) call, message or email to advise that they won’t be attending a class. This is to ensure that the teacher does not waste class time waiting for other students to arrive if they won’t be attending.
If you miss a class, ‘Lauren Majarres Flamenco Studio’ gives the option to attend another class (of the same level or technique class) within that same month that you missed a class. However, strictly no refund or credit will be given for any missed classes.

Costumes:

For studio performances throughout the year and/or end of year concert, all students will require a new costume. Costumes will be designed and organised by the studio for studio performances/end of year concerts; however, students are to pay for their own costumes.
Please note that any additional costs such as costumes, are not included as part of the regular class fees and will be invoiced separately.

Safety:

Dance instructors will always take care of all students during classes; however, we do not accept any responsibility for any injury, property damage or lost property during class.
By accepting this agreement, the student agrees that they are fit to participate in the dance classes.
All students must always be considerate and mindful of their peers in class and always ensure that they are acting in a safe manner to avoid any accidents.
All students are to always show respect towards the teacher and students. Failure to do so could result in being asked to leave the class.

Choreography:

All choreographies and material taught in class remains the property of ‘Lauren Majarres Flamenco Studio’ and may not be used without permission from the director.

Photography/videography:

All photos and videos taken during the class and/or performances will strictly only be used by ‘Lauren Majarres Flamenco Studio’ for promotional purposes. By signing the enrolment form, you give permission to the studio to use these photos/videos for promotional use only.
